Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server/Supervisor to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Manage table assignments, coordinate seating arrangements with OpenTable, and ensure timely service delivery.
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Supervise and support team members in food preparation, beverage service, bussing, and cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments, and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
- Monitor guest interactions to ensure exceptional customer service, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations.
- Assist in training new staff on POS systems, food safety procedures, and service protocols while promoting a team-oriented atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong background in serving and supervising roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management.
- Demonstrated culinary knowledge along with beverage expertise including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and food handling safety.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution.
