The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The Automotive Technician will also provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients are informed about their vehicle's condition and the necessary repairs.
Duties
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles using specialized tools and equipment.
- Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to perform repairs efficiently.
- Align wheels and maintain proper vehicle specifications to enhance performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and costs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
