Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their mobile device needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various mobile devices and accessories
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell additional products, services, or plans to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales goals
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising mobile devices and accessories effectively
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about products, plans, and store policies with clear phone etiquette and communication skills
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer experiences
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, especially with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash drawer handling
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical features clearly and confidently
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail math for transactions, discounts, and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus for supporting store operations
- Familiarity with grocery store experience or similar high-volume retail environments enhances adaptability
