Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations, change distribution, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Assist with food safety management practices such as proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and adhering to health codes.
- Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and food safety management are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and upselling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service and cleanliness.
