Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Aide, where you will play a role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing their rehabilitation experience. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with licensed physical therapists and assistants while assisting in non-medical procedures.
Duties:
- Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Help transfer patients using appropriate patient transfer methods while maintaining proper body mechanics and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment activities, and session details in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Prepare treatment areas by cleaning equipment, setting up therapy tools, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
Qualifications
- Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or related healthcare role is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with patient transfer methods confidently.
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and care delivery.
