Experienced Veterinarian with Future Medical Director Track
Worthington Woods Animal Care Center is seeking an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about high-quality medicine and interested in taking the next step in their career. This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving practice while receiving hands-on mentorship and leadership development from our current Medical Director.
We're looking for a DVM who enjoys collaborating with a strong team, building lasting client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the hospital. As part of this role, you'll work side-by-side with an established Medical Director, gaining exposure to practice leadership, team development, business operations, and medical quality initiatives. Who are we looking for?
- DVM / VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- 5+ years of experience in small animal medicine (preferred)
- Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills
- Ohio veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- A good human who plays nice with pets and people
- Has strong communication skills and a desire to foster lasting relationships with clients, their pets, and other WWACC team members
- Takes pride in their work and strives to provide a memorable client experience with each appointment
- Has a willingness to guide, mentor, and be a member of the team
