JOB •The Facilities Engineer supports the Facilities Division to ensure smooth operations of the mechanical, electrical, and facilities safety equipment for City buildings. Two-year technical degree in related field is required.
- Minimum of five years of experience with industrial and residential refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, pool operation is preferred.
- Experience in building construction, repair, and maintenance of systems and equipment is preferred.
- Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred.
- Experience in HVAC, cooling towers, energy management, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, boilers, chillers, plumbing, fire/safety equipment, pneumatic controls, and reading blueprints is required.
- Second Class C boiler’s license is required.
- First Class C boiler’s license or must obtain within 3 years of employment is required.
- Certified Pool Operator license or must obtain within first 12 months of employment is required.
- Position requires incumbent to work on ladders and on roofs. Position requires incumbent to work with water treatment chemicals.
- Universal Refrigeration license is required.
