American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level 1 trauma experience and 5+ years of large hospital OR experience.

Work in the Operating Room department of a large, Level 1 trauma hospital
-
12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
-
Call requirements approximately 3 times per month, including overnight, evening, and weekend call shifts (12-hour call blocks on Saturday or Sunday)

Must be independently skilled in a wide range of OR services, with emphasis on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases

Uses Epic EMR system

Active MA RN license required in hand

Minimum of 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience required

Level 1 trauma center experience required
-
Large hospital experience required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Experience across most OR service lines required, especially transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases

Must provide proof of Flu vaccination during flu season
-
COVID vaccine plus booster and Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties across a variety of complex surgical specialties

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning

Pass/Fail testing may be required for Tele/ECG and Medication competency depending on campus
