About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR & Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. This is an entry-level role that is ideal for someone looking to gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in supporting recruiting efforts, coordinating onboarding, and managing day-to-day HR tasks. This position is critical to delivering an excellent candidate and new hire experience—from first contact through orientation.
Position Summary
The HR & Recruiting Coordinator is an entry-level role providing human resources and recruiting support with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition and HRIS administration. This position is responsible for supporting recruiting efforts, onboarding, and day-to-day HR administrative functions while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
The role serves as a key partner in delivering a positive candidate and new hire experience, including managing candidate communications, processing new hire documentation, and facilitating orientation programs. The HR & Recruiting Coordinator also supports the integrity of HR systems and contributes to the overall employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and highly organized early-career HR professional who is a quick learner and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in recruiting—preferably within healthcare or radiology—is strongly preferred, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and accuracy.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
· Support full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling and participation, and candidate communication
· Coordinate interviews and maintain communication between candidates and hiring managers
· Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate data
· Assist with candidate sourcing through job boards, referrals, and outreach
· Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
· Coordinate with hiring managers to coordinate facilitate candidate selection and hiring decisions.
· Prepare and process new hire onboarding paperwork and related administrative documentation.
· Conduct site visits as needed to support recruiting and hiring initiatives.
Onboarding, Training & Compliance
· Coordinate and execute onboarding processes for new hires
· Perform background checks, and prepare onboarding documentation
· Conduct or support new hire orientation sessions
· Ensure timely completion of pre-employment requirements
· Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding transition
· Process onboarding paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
· Coordinate onboarding activities and assist with new hire training.
· Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and internal policies.
· Assist with regulatory reporting and audits as required.
HR & Employee Support
· Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
· Process employee transactions including hires, changes, and terminations
· Support HR reporting and track key metrics (e.g., hiring activity, onboarding progress)
· Assist with compliance with company policies and employment regulations
· Provide general HR support to employees and managers
· Perform regular audits and update the HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
· Work with facilities across the organization to correct and prevent employee data updates
· Develop ad‑hoc, management, and compliance‑related HR reports as requested.
· Maintain HR databases related to employee records, onboarding, training, and licensure compliance.
· Provide general HR administrative support, including personnel records management and employee relations assistance.
· Assist with Workers’ Compensation, FMLA paperwork processing
· Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive employee and organizational data.
· Offer process improvements and suggestions to better meet internal HR and user needs.
· Process termination paperwork and processes in a timely and accurate manner.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience), required.
Experience
· 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
· Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
· Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
· Experience supporting recruiting efforts in a healthcare or clinical environment (preferred)
· Familiarity with radiology or specialized healthcare recruiting (preferred)
· Experience with HRIS or ATS platforms (e.g., UKG, ADP)
· Basic understanding of HR compliance and employment practices
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Proficiency with HRIS systems, UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) highly preferred.
· Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams) and Adobe applications.
· Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.

Physical requirements: Occasionally required to lift, push, or pull light to moderate items. Must be able to stand, stoop, lift (25 lbs), and ambulate without restriction. The role primarily involves remaining in a seated, stationary position and performing frequent keyboard and computer-based tasks. Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders is required, along with occasional movement throughout the office and periods of standing as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS: On-site office environment with mfoderate noise associated with a typical work environment (computers, printers, and light traffic) is characteristic of this job.
