Key Point Academy is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to support HR operations for our preschool campuses, including Aventura, Coral Gables, Doral, and The Learning World Academy – Venetian.
This position will support the full employee lifecycle for preschool staff and will play an important role in recruiting, onboarding, compliance, payroll coordination, employee records, HRIS maintenance, and general HR support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced school environment.
Experience in a preschool, childcare, DCF-regulated, or academic setting is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for preschool positions, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting initial screenings, and supporting hiring decisions
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires and ensure required paperwork and documentation are completed
- Maintain accurate and organized employee files and HR records
- Support compliance requirements related to preschool employment and employee documentation
- Assist with payroll processing and employee data updates
- Maintain employee information in the HRIS/payroll system
- Track required documents, certifications, background checks, and onboarding requirements
- Communicate professionally with employees, candidates, school leadership, and administration
- Support employee questions related to HR processes, payroll, onboarding, and general employment matters
- Assist with HR projects, audits, reporting, and process improvements as needed
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior HR experience required
- Experience in a preschool, childcare, school, or academic environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of DCF-related preschool compliance requirements is a major plus
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee files, payroll, or HRIS systems preferred
- Experience with iSolved or similar payroll/HRIS systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with digital HR systems, spreadsheets, and documents
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
