Location: Uniondale, NY — This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for a paralegal who enjoys being closely connected to the attorneys, cases, and clients they support.

Job Description
- Support attorneys in managing plaintiff-side nursing home negligence and personal injury cases.
- Assist with case preparation from intake through discovery, settlement, and trial preparation.
- Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, correspondence, medical records, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Assist with drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, notices, and other litigation documents.
- Review, organize, and summarize medical records, nursing home records, hospital records, and other case evidence.
- Assist attorneys with discovery, deposition preparation, court filings, and case deadlines.
- Coordinate documents and information for depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Communicate professionally with clients, family members, medical providers, experts, and other parties as needed.
- Track deadlines and ensure case materials are organized and readily accessible.
- Assist with gathering evidence related to liability, injuries, damages, and medical treatment.
- Work closely with attorneys and other members of the litigation team to keep cases moving efficiently.
- Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of personal injury law experience required.
- Paralegal experience in a plaintiff-side law firm strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting litigation matters, discovery, or medical-record-heavy cases is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable reviewing and organizing medical and legal records.
- Proficiency with standard legal office technology and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and the broader litigation team.
