Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our dedicated team at ITL Tanklines in the US. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, contributing to our mission of delivering flawless service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Arrive each day on time ready to work
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Accurately diagnose and perform repairs on company equipment.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance services.
- Clearly document descriptions for work performed and parts used.
- Perform DOT Inspections.
- Inform the driver of issues and resolutions.
- Be able to follow safety procedures and adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Keep work area clean.
- Put away tools and clean up after every unit completion.
- Road calls as needed.
- Rotating on call for one week (Friday-Thursday) as scheduled
- Perform jobs in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- 3 years verifiable mechanic experience
- Reliable transportation
- Clean MVR with current license
- Must pass company physical
- Provide Own basic tools
- Basic computer skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Diesel engine repair-1 yr
- Dealer experience preferred
- Proficient in brake and wheel end
- DOT Inspection certified
- Welding experience
- Cummins Insite experience
Schedule
- Monday thru Friday(On call as required per schedule)
- 7 A.M.-5 P.M.
- Overtime required as needed
