Groundskeeper
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
About the Position
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of outdoor facilities and surrounding properties while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Transport equipment, tools, and supplies to and from work sites.
- Operate trucks, trailers, mowers, and other landscaping equipment safely.
- Use hand and power tools such as weed eaters, leaf blowers, edgers, chainsaws, sprayers, and trimmers.
- Perform routine grounds maintenance, including:
- Mowing grass
- Trimming shrubs and trees
- Planting flowers, shrubs, and other landscaping
- Removing weeds and debris
- Watering landscaped areas
- Applying mulch
- Applying herbicides and pesticides when needed
- Maintain clean and organized shop and work areas.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining pump stations.
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities as needed.
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Complete work according to company safety policies and quality standards.
- Keep accurate records of completed work.
- Respond professionally to requests for assistance and maintenance concerns.
- Attend required training, meetings, and safety programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and power tools.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
