Prospective applicants should possess and demonstrate the following: well-developed communication skills (written and verbal), self-motivation, attention to detail, organization, excellent proofreading and typing skills, ability to follow instructions without difficulty, and have a serious work ethic. Duties of this position include answering phones, scheduling client appointments, helping to prepare real estate documents, ordering office supplies, along with a variety of other tasks. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to one or more lawyers
- Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and partners
- Greet visitors and clients
- Produce and file various legal documents
- Preserve an updated file system
- Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
- Maintain and update supply inventory
- Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders
Skills
- Experience preferred as secretary but will train the right candidate
- Proficiency in English
- Outstanding time-management and typing skills
- Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
