About the Role:
Location: Chicago, IL 60604
Type: Hybrid, 3 days/week on site, 2 days/week remote
Duration: 6 month contract with potential for extensions, or conversion permament/FTE
Starting Pay: $40/hr - $50/hr
Job Summary:
A financial services client/firm is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Advisor to fill a critical role during an enterprise-wide Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform migration. You'll own end-to-end procurement and contract review across multiple business entities, partnering closely with Legal, Finance, and Information Security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement requests from intake through PO creation and contract execution via the current P2P platform
- Conduct contract reviews across all spend levels and contract types — from low-value assessments to complex, high-value negotiations
- Redline and negotiate business terms with vendors; coordinate Legal review workflows through to execution
- Serve as the primary liaison between Business Owners, Legal, FP&A, and InfoSec throughout the contract lifecycle
- Apply data privacy considerations (PII, PCI, system access) in vendor onboarding and contract terms
- Support platform migration continuity, user adoption, and process documentation
What You Bring:
- 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contracts management
- Hands-on experience with P2P platforms (Coupa, Jaggaer, Ramp, SAP Ariba, or similar) and CLM tools (Ironclad, Conga, Icertis, or similar)
- Strong command of contract types: SaaS/software licenses, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and staffing agreements
- Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder reviews across Legal, Finance, and InfoSec
- Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or contract-specific AI) to accelerate review and drafting workflows
- Familiarity with multi-entity org structures and financial services environments
- NetSuite familiarity a plus
