Intervention Specialist — Full Time (MUST BE OHIO LICENSED)

About the Role
We’re seeking a student-centered Intervention Specialist to design and deliver individualized supports that accelerate academic and social–emotional growth. You’ll co-teach in inclusive settings, lead IEP development and implementation, and coordinate services across teams and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and document IEPs/504 accommodations; schedule and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide co-teaching/inclusion support and targeted instruction aligned to Ohio standards
- Use RtI/MTSS to analyze data, create interventions, and monitor progress; contribute to BIP/FBA processes as needed
- Collaborate with general educators, related services, families, and outside agencies
- Maintain accurate records; ensure compliance with timelines, confidentiality, and state/federal requirements
- Prepare required local/state/federal reports; support building teams and professional learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education/Special Education or related field
- Ohio Intervention Specialist certification/license (or eligibility)
- Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Skill with differentiated instruction, classroom management, and data-driven decision-making
- Comfort with basic ed-tech/record systems (progress monitoring, electronic grades, LMS)
Nice to Have
- Experience with inclusive co-teaching, RtI/MTSS, and behavior supports (PBIS)
- Familiarity with adapting curriculum and alternative assessments
