NEMT Driver Needed
We are seeking experienced, reliable and compassionate Non‑Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience transporting medical or special-needs passengers and understands the importance of safety , punctuality , professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle
- Maintain a clean, well‑organized vehicle
- Follow scheduled routes and timing
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean and acceptable driving record
- Previous NEMT, Medical Transportation, paratransit, patient transportation , or similar professional driving experience ( minimum 5 years of experience )
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable, patient, and comfortable working with seniors and individuals with disabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- EMT Certification
- CNA, Medical Assistant, or other health care-related certifications
- Experience with wheelchair Transportation
- Experience with gurney/ stretcher transportation
- experience working with hospice, dialysis, behavioral health or other medical transportation clients.
