We are looking for a Part-Time Remote Phone Recruiter to join our growing team and help us find talented, motivated people for our Lifeline Agent positions throughout California.
No prior recruiting experience? No problem! Experience in recruiting, staffing, interviewing, or hiring is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. If you have strong communication skills, enjoy talking with people, and are great at staying organized, we'd love to hear from you!

About Our Company
We provide free cell phones through the California Lifeline program to eligible low-income individuals throughout California. Our growing team of community outreach specialists helps us connect with communities across the state.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated recruiter who can help us identify and connect with the right people to join our outreach team.
What You'll Do
As our Phone Recruiter, you will be responsible for helping candidates move through the initial stages of our hiring process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Review and screen resumes for Lifeline Agent positions
- Conduct first-round interviews over the phone
- Speak with candidates to learn about their experience, communication skills, and overall fit
- Build rapport with candidates and create a positive first impression of our company
- Explain the Lifeline Agent opportunity and answer basic candidate questions
- Identify qualified candidates and recommend them for the next stage of the hiring process
- Schedule qualified candidates for second-round interviews
- Follow up with candidates and keep them informed throughout the interview process
- Keep candidate information and recruiting activity organized and up to date
- Communicate professionally with candidates and internal team members
The Ideal Candidate

- Experience making a high volume of professional phone calls
