Greenway Automotive has an immediate opening for an Internal Auditor.
This position performs highly responsible professional audit work in the areas of performance, operational and financial auditing. The Internal Auditor is part of the Audit Team that reports to the CFO.
This is a "working" auditor position which requires exceptional self-motivation and time management skills. The candidate must be well-organized and skilled at balancing priorities. The candidate must be a highly-skilled communicator both verbally and in writing, have a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement and will take more of a collaborative rather than punitive approach to this work.
This position is based in Greenway's Coporate Office in Orlando, FL.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNAL AUDITOR:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and theories of auditing standards and accounting standards as well as the laws, ordinances, regulations and statutes which govern audit functions.
- Must be open to travel.
- This is an entry level position, with the best candidate possessing 0-3 years of experience.
RESPONSIBILTIES FOR INTERNAL AUDITOR:
- Conducting operational, financial, compliance, and forensic audits of departments, offices, boards, agencies, contracts, grants, and any other operations or programs that fall under the responsibility of the Internal Auditor.
- Making recommendations for improving internal controls.
- Appraising the cost effectiveness, efficiency, and responsiveness of company programs.
- Developing and maintaining audit recommendation follow-up systems including notifying responsible parties.
- Investigating allegations of wrongdoing, fraud, abuse, or illegal acts.
- Preparing and presenting written and oral reports.
- May supervise the work of subordinates.

The starting salary will be negotiable depending on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
