American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Perioperative Circulator role in an Adult Surgery OR setting, requiring at least 1 year of acute OR experience and a valid OK or compact RN license.

Adult Surgery operating room (OR) unit in an acute hospital setting

Perioperative circulator role serving adult surgical patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures

Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute OR environment required

Level I trauma experience required (minimum 6 months)

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Strong knowledge of AORN standards and perioperative nursing practices

CNOR certification preferred

Responsible for direct and indirect professional nursing care of patients in the operating room throughout the perioperative period

Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and the specific surgery or procedure being performed

Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all care components within the perioperative environment using the nursing process

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered

Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may only extend once for a maximum of 26 total weeks; a 6-month separation period is required before reapplying after 26 weeks
