Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Electrical Test Supervisor to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. This position will oversee Electrical Testing and Burn-In, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Lunch 11:30PM-12:00PM
This is a working supervisor role responsible for leading technicians while actively supporting troubleshooting, testing, process improvement, and day-to-day manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate is highly engaged on the production floor, capable of providing technical leadership, coaching employees, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Supervise and mentor test technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Schedule and prioritize daily test activities to meet production and engineering deadlines.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability within the department.
Testing Operations
- Ensure accurate execution of test procedures for electronic & lighting assemblies, lightbars, and traffic control systems.
- Oversee all functional and performance testing of electronic assemblies, including Burn-in Room operations for extended reliability and stress testing.
- Review and approve test documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and Failure Analysis Reports (FARs).
- Monitor and troubleshoot test failures, coordinating with engineering for root cause analysis.
- Support engineering in their development and maintenance of test fixtures and burn-in racks.
- Lead Return Material Authorization (RMA) product analysis, reporting, and resolution in conjunction with customer service, service (warranty) department, and engineering
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards and company policies.
- Oversee calibration of test equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and audit readiness.
- Track and document calibration certificates, logs, and test results for traceability.
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in test operations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve throughput and reduce defects.
- Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Requests (ECRs) impacting test processes.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment calibration, and departmental performance metrics.
- Prepare reports for management on testing progress, quality issues, and resource needs.
Qualifications
Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 3–5 years in electronics testing or manufacturing environments.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, LED systems, and test methodologies.
- Familiarity with calibration standards and test equipment ie: DMM, signal generator, AC/DC power supplies, and Oscilloscope.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, problem solving, ability to develop and train others, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Preferred
- Experience in emergency vehicle lighting or signaling products.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
