We are seeking an experienced and dependable Dietary Manager / CDM to lead food and nutrition services within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. This role is responsible for ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals that align with medical needs, dietary requirements, and personal preferences—while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Nutrition Services & Meal Oversight
Plan, coordinate, and manage meal programs that meet clinical nutrition standards and individual resident needs
Ensure accuracy and consistency for special, modified, and therapeutic diets
Collaborate with healthcare providers to align dietary plans with care goals
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and local dietary and food safety regulations
Maintain proper sanitation, infection control, and food handling standards
Prepare for surveys, inspections, and audits with organized documentation
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and support dietary staff including cooks and dietary aides
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
Promote accountability, teamwork, and consistent service standards
Resident Experience
Communicate directly with residents to address dietary preferences and concerns
Respond promptly to feedback and resolve service-related issues
Maintain a high standard of customer service and meal satisfaction
Budget & Inventory Management
Monitor food costs, purchasing, and inventory control
Ensure supplies meet quality expectations while remaining cost-conscious
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate dietary records, menus, and compliance documentation
Complete reports and records as required by leadership and regulatory bodies
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required
Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
Prior experience in a healthcare, SNF, or long-term care environment strongly preferred
Solid understanding of nutrition principles, food safety, and sanitation regulations
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
Comfortable using dietary software and related systems
