About the Role: A premier motorsports company is seeking a Senior Chassis Designer to lead the design and development of high-performance race car chassis and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for professionals with deep motorsports experience and advanced CAD modeling skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze race car chassis and mechanical systems using CAD software

Develop parametric models, technical drawings, and design documentation

Interpret test results and apply findings to improve performance

Lead engineering projects and mentor junior engineers

Coordinate design activities across development, scheduling, and testing

Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases

Ensure compliance with engineering principles and project requirements
Required Qualifications:

5-7 years of motorsports vehicle design experience

Strong background in race car chassis and suspension systems

Proficiency in CAD software and parametric modeling

Experience with prototype machining, castings, and treatment processes

Knowledge of raw material specifications, drawing control procedures, and cost calculations

Strong analytical and project management skills

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs of vehicle components

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
