We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of individuals on-site.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
- Provide first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or suspicious behavior.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of bars and clubs.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance equipment including CCTV systems.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to observe and report effectively with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
