Responsibilities
- Perform professional braiding services, including intricate styles and protective styles tailored to client preferences
- Assist clients with hair extensions application and maintenance to enhance their look and hair health
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all styling stations and tools, adhering to salon safety protocols
- Use salon software to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage daily operations efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering style recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience
- Upsell retail products related to hair care, and accessories to support client needs and grow store sales.
- Support store management with front desk duties when needed, including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments
Requirements
- Proven experience in braiding techniques, including knotless, boho, box braids, cornrows, twists, locs and other protective styles.
- Knowledge of hair extensions installation and maintenance methods
- Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a salon environment.
- Certified in cosmetology or barbering; additional skills in makeup, eyelash extensions or nail care are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively.
- Must Be Available to work overnight shift (10pm-6am) reliably while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and store management is a plus.
