Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain professional music production equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, and recording software
- Collaborate with artists and clients to develop and refine musical concepts and arrangements
- Record, edit, mix, and master audio tracks to achieve high-quality sound output
- Manage studio scheduling, ensuring efficient use of space and resources for multiple projects
- Assist with the organization of rehearsals, recording sessions, and live performances
- Support in the development of creative arts curricula related to music production and studio techniques
- Contribute to the planning and execution of workshops or classes focused on music creation, choreography, dance instruction, or visual arts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized studio environment conducive to creative work
Skills
- Extensive experience in music production, sound engineering, or related fields with a focus on creative arts instruction
- Proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools or similar software
- Strong knowledge of musical instruments and performance techniques across various genres including ballet, dance, theater arts, and instrumental performance
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum content for youth programs teaching music, visual & performing arts, choreography or theater
- Experience working with children and young adults in educational or workshop settings with excellent classroom management skills
- Skilled in lesson planning tailored for early childhood education or preschool environments involving arts activities like sewing or photography
- Capable of working with students on behavior management strategies and childhood development principles within creative arts contexts
- Knowledge of culinary arts or cooking is a plus for interdisciplinary arts programming involving culinary experiences alongside performing arts activities
