Duties
- Plan and deliver comprehensive PE lessons that incorporate curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and innovative use of learning technology such as LMS (Learning Management Systems) to track student progress.
- Implement IT-integrated lessons that enhance student engagement and understanding of physical health concepts.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Adapt lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and special needs, including working with students with autism or other developmental differences.
- Assess student performance using standardized testing, performance data analysis, and ongoing formative assessments to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and achievements through clear, professional updates.
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum implementation, instructional modifications, and school-wide initiatives to promote wellness and physical literacy.

Skills
- Proven experience working with children in educational settings, particularly in physical education or related fields such as childhood development or preschool education.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to foster motivation and teamwork among students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Expertise in integrating educational technology including LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and instructional software into lesson plans.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and faculty collaboration.
- Knowledge of educational compliance standards, regulation understanding related to health education, and literacy education principles.
- Ability to develop creative writing activities related to health topics or sports narratives as part of curriculum enrichment.
- Experience in behavior management strategies suitable for early childhood or elementary-aged students; familiarity with Montessori or preschool methodologies is a plus.
