Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center of DeLand is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Lead Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our clients. Safely transport residents to their destinations in a timely manner
Load and unload residents/patients onto vehicles
Check vehicle for mechanical and safety issues before and after each trip
Follow traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers with disabilities, if needed
Plan routes and maintain navigation systems
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
