We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on semi-trucks, tractors, and commercial trailers. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, communicates effectively, and takes pride in completing quality repairs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components
- Perform preventive maintenance and DOT safety inspections
- Repair air brake systems, suspensions, steering, and drivetrains
- Diagnose electrical, charging, starting, and lighting systems
- Service DEF, DPF, EGR, and aftertreatment systems
- Repair air leaks, coolant leaks, oil leaks, and fuel-system issues
- Inspect and repair semi-truck and trailer components
- Use diagnostic software and scan tools to identify faults
- Communicate repair findings, recommendations, and job status clearly
- Complete accurate repair orders and maintenance records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of diesel or heavy-truck repair experience preferred
- Experience working on Class 8 semi-trucks
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of DOT inspection and maintenance requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must provide basic hand tools
- CDL and ASE certifications are preferred but not required
- Reefer unit and trailer repair experience is a plus

Compensation: $25-$40 depending on experience and skill set
