Main Street Designs of Georgia, LLC (MSD) is a residential design firm located in Alpharetta, GA. Our firm provides residential home design, construction documents, exterior color selections and artwork graphics services to the largest production builders in the United States.
This full-time position provides a competitive salary. Compensation is commensurate to the level of experience.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of (3) years work experience in residential product drafting and development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture
- The desire to learn, grow, and be part of a great team
- Associates degree or higher in Architecture, Drafting/Design or related discipline (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of residential construction documents
- Generate lot specific plan sets from master plan set and selections
- Complete plan blockouts and elevations from design to move into CDs
- Review completed projects for accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with team to improve processes and quality
Skills:
- Communication
- High level Drafting and a robust understanding of construction documents
- Knowledge of single-family and multi-family residential construction
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Time management to meet multiple deadlines
- Artistic / Creative
- Rendering capabilities 2D or 3D (a plus)
- An eye for exterior colors (a plus)
