Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional meal services to our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving meals in a nursing home or assisted living facility, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, meal planning, and plating for residents.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with food service, ensuring meals are served efficiently and to the satisfaction of our residents.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting with residents and their families in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Assist with dietary needs and restrictions, ensuring that all meals are prepared and served in accordance with the resident's requirements.
- Participate in meal planning and preparation for special events, holidays, and celebrations.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless meal service operations.
- Maintain accurate records of food preparation and service.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and service, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to lift and move food items, as well as equipment, to and from storage areas.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residents.
- Basic knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions, including special diets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in a nursing home or assisted living facility is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and standards.
- A passion for cooking and preparing meals that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
