About the Role
As a Field Refrigeration Technician, you will ensure the peak performance of specialized ice-production equipment across various customer sites. You will play a vital role in maintaining system reliability, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and delivering high-quality service that directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Conduct comprehensive service calls to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize ice-making and bagging systems.

Execute precise preventive maintenance, including descaling, sanitizing, and replacing critical components to extend equipment lifespan.

Manage the full lifecycle of equipment, including professional installation, system replacement, and site decommissioning.

Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and ensure all service vehicles and tools are organized and operational.

Collaborate with store personnel to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize production downtime during peak demand.

Utilize technical schematics and blueprints to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on standard operating procedures and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications-
Valid EPA Certification for refrigeration handling.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration repair.

High School diploma or equivalent, with preference for trade certifications in electrical or mechanical disciplines.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and safely operate power tools and ladders.

Proficiency with handheld technology for reporting and documentation.

Working knowledge of low-voltage controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Experience with Lean methodology or continuous improvement processes.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
