Rite Staff is immediately hiring four experienced Sit-Down Propane Forklift Operators for a full-time, first-shift opportunity at a manufacturing facility in Mount Airy, North Carolina.
Qualified candidates must have recent experience operating a sit-down propane forklift and be prepared to complete a forklift skills evaluation and certification process before beginning the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Load, unload, stage, and organize materials
- Supply production areas with needed materials
- Inspect the forklift before use and report safety concerns
- Follow designated traffic patterns and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse or production duties when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Recent sit-down propane forklift experience is required
- Must successfully complete a forklift skills test and certification
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Dependable transportation to the Mount Airy worksite
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal safety instructions

- Pay: $14.50 per hour
- Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday

- Start: As soon as qualified and cleared
