About the Company
EZ Investments is a private real estate investment firm with active operations in acquisitions, fix and flip, rental portfolio management, and long-term asset development. We are building out our field team and looking for motivated, personable individuals to generate leads through door-to-door outreach in targeted neighborhoods.
Position Overview
The Field Acquisition Representative canvasses assigned neighborhoods on foot, engages homeowners in face-to-face conversation, identifies potential sellers, and passes qualified leads to the acquisitions team for follow-up and closing. This role sources off-market opportunities that never appear on the MLS.
This is a 1099, commission-only position. You are compensated based on qualified leads generated and deals that close from your field work. Top performers in this role earn between $60,000 and $250,000 or more per year.
Responsibilities
- Canvas 50 to 100+ doors per day in neighborhoods selected by the data and marketing team
- Engage homeowners in door-to-door conversations about their property and potential interest in selling
- Qualify leads based on property condition, personal circumstances, asking price, and timeline
- Collect property details and homeowner contact information for follow-up by the acquisitions team
- Log all field activity, door outcomes, and lead details in the company mobile CRM
- Leave professional marketing materials at properties where the homeowner is not available
- Report neighborhood conditions and field observations to leadership to improve targeting
Training and Support
Every new representative completes hands-on training before entering the field. Training covers approach techniques, conversation flow, reading homeowner motivation, objection handling, and CRM usage. An experienced team member will accompany you on your initial outings and provide real-time coaching. Most reps begin generating qualified leads within their first week.
Career Progression
This role has structured advancement built into it. Field representatives who demonstrate consistent performance advance into a Field Training Lead position with increased compensation. For representatives who continue to perform, EZ Investments will cover the cost of obtaining a real estate license and transition them into a Disposition Agent role within the company.
Qualifications
- Personable and approachable with the ability to start a conversation naturally with homeowners at their door
- Persistent without being aggressive. Understands the difference between confidence and pressure
- Comfortable being on foot for extended periods outdoors in varying weather
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage daily routes and schedules independently
- Competitive and results-driven
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in door-to-door sales, field canvassing, or direct outreach (solar, pest control, security, etc.)
- Familiarity with real estate investing or wholesaling
- Experience with mobile CRM or field tracking applications
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
Compensation
Commission only. Paid on qualified leads generated and closed deals resulting from your field outreach. No cap on earnings. Performance incentives available for consistent production. Advancement to Field Training Lead comes with increased compensation. Top performers earn $60,000 to $250,000+ per year.
Schedule and Availability
Fully open availability preferred. Best contact windows are typically weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings when homeowners are most likely to be home. All availability levels are welcome.
Location
Field-based. You will spend most working hours outdoors canvassing assigned neighborhoods. Reliable vehicle required. As the team grows, we plan to open a central office that will serve as a home base for route planning, team huddles, and training. A place to build with the team before heading into the field, not a desk you are chained to.
Growth Opportunity
EZ Investments is in its early growth stage. The field team is a foundational part of the company. Representatives who perform well have direct paths into field training leadership, licensed disposition roles (license cost covered by the company), acquisitions, and management. High performers will be considered for equity participation in the business.
