Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following established health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services to accommodate large-scale food service operations.
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote environmental sustainability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food service.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to uphold hygiene standards.
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors and surfaces in the kitchen area.
- Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of supply needs or equipment maintenance requirements.
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices is advantageous.
- Experience working in busy settings such as banquet halls or large-scale food service operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse staff members involved in food service operations.
