SUMMARY
As a key member of the Operations team, this role verifies and maintains records on inventory shipments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the transportation of products and performs quality inspections to support the organization’s key objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists with quality control inspections of incoming and outgoing materials.

Receives materials from various areas among the facility, verifies quantities of work orders and placing parts in proper locations.

Loads/unloads and signs all truck bills when necessary.

Performs cycle inventory and participates in year-end physical inventory.

Identifies and pulls parts accurately and according to instruction.

Maintains a clean and orderly workspace.

Record shipment data when necessary.

Operates powered industrial truck in accordance with safety standards.

Packages appropriate products according to specs when necessary or instructed to do so.

Complies with and adheres to applicable ISO standards, safety, and work rules and requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION

Work in non-climate-controlled factory setting

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 10 hours)

Handling and moving of items required

Ability to utilize full range of motion

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Prior experience in inventory control or logistics very helpful

Basic computer literacy skills

Demonstrates ability to operate motor vehicles in a safe manner

Ability to work well with other shop floor units and follow instructions

Written and verbal literacy required
