Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 2 x 12-hour shifts per week
Compensation: Starting at $33.15/hour
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for qualified candidates relocating from 71+ miles away
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse I to join a Medical Unit within a rural hospital setting. This position is ideal for a nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The Registered Nurse I is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care using established nursing processes and evidence-based practices to support positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients of varying ages and medical conditions.
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes using appropriate medical terminology.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning and referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing educational activities.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure
- Current and valid Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact Multi-State RN License.
Experience
- Up to six (6) months of related nursing experience.

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
