Position Summary
The Dishwasher & Guest Services Attendant plays an important dual role at The Jenesis House by supporting both the culinary team and the guest experience team.
This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen while also assisting guests with luggage, property transportation, and general hospitality needs throughout the estate.
The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, physically active, and enjoys working behind the scenes while also interacting with guests.

Core ResponsibilitiesKitchen & Dishwashing Support
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Ensure dishes are sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Empty trash and recycling throughout kitchen operations.
- Assist with kitchen cleaning projects as assigned.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
- Maintain cleanliness of sinks, dish machines, and prep areas.
- Support culinary team during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
Guest Services & Luggage Assistance
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure.
- Transport luggage to and from guest rooms.
- Provide golf cart transportation throughout the property when needed.
- Assist guests with directions and property orientation.
- Support guest requests as directed by House Managers.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown.
- Help maintain cleanliness and readiness of guest-facing areas.
Property Support
- Assist with daily property readiness.
- Help stock guest amenities and supplies.
- Assist with Tea House setup and organization.
- Support Bath House preparation when needed.
- Help maintain outdoor spaces and common areas.
- Perform general operational support tasks as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Preferred
- Hospitality experience.
- Dishwasher or kitchen experience.
- Resort, hotel, retreat center, or restaurant experience.
- Golf cart operation experience.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift luggage, boxes, and supplies.
- Walk throughout a multi-acre property.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Work both indoors and outdoors.
- Bend, lift, push, pull, and carry equipment and supplies.
