Job Summary
As a member of our Market, Barista, and To-Go team, you’ll play a versatile and vital role in delivering high-quality service to our customers. You’ll assist with preparing and packaging to-go orders, crafting coffee and espresso drinks, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the market area, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail, a positive attitude, and reliability are key.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & To-Go
- Greet guests with a warm, professional, and friendly demeanor
- Package food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle take out orders, walk-ins, and delivery pickup orders
- Restock retail items, snacks, drinks, and market supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of market and to-go areas
- Communicate with kitchen or barista staff to ensure timely order readiness
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock
Barista Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks to standard
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines
- Clean and maintain espresso machines and coffee equipment
- Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and barista tools
- Keep the coffee area clean and organized at all times
- Provide suggestions and product knowledge to customers as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, barista work, or retail is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
