Job Overview
Dostal Dental Lab is a full service dental laboratory looking for a candidate to fill the position of CAD/CAM Designer Assistant. This is a entry level position and need someone that is familiar with the cad cam system. We are a family owned laboratory who has been in business since 1956.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate must have at least two years of CAD/CAM design experience and a great work ethic. Must be knowledgeable of 3Shape / Exocad scanning and design software and able to trouble shoot problems with individual cases. Must have experience working with and processing various digital scans and modeless cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design dental CAD Full Contour Crowns, Bridges, and Implants
- Design cases according to Doctors’ prescription requests using 3Shape CAD/CAM software
- Maintain strong attention to detail to produce high-quality designs that meet doctors’ specifications every time
- Communicate with our internal team in order to relay design questions or issues to Doctors
- Perform stain and glaze on solid zirconia, layered zirconia, and e.max crowns to achieve high-quality esthetics and accurate shade matching
Skills/Qualifications:
- CAD/CAM Scanning/Design Experience (3Shape, Exocad)
- Able to closely follow dentist instructions and produce quality work
- Proficient in the design of full arch rehabilitation, anterior and implant cases
- Knowledge of IOS case design with iTero and TRIOS
- Knowledge of implant model construction, abutment design, surgical guides
- Full arch / All-on-X protocols and workflow
- Experience with staining and glazing solid zirconia, layered zirconia, and e.max restorations preferred
