We are seeking a motivated attorney to join our growing Oregon traffic defense law firm. This position is ideal for an attorney who is organized, responsive, and enjoys working directly with clients while managing cases from intake through resolution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations and answer legal questions.
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and provide regular updates.
- Prepare and file trial by affidavit/trial by declaration submissions.
- Review evidence and develop case strategies.
- Negotiate with prosecutors when appropriate.
- Draft correspondence and send clients case outcomes and closing communications.
- Meet court deadlines and ensure timely completion of all assigned matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to achieve the firm’s daily objectives.
- Assist with day-to-day firm operations and maintain excellent client service.
Qualifications
- Licensed attorney in Oregon.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
