Production Planner
Location: Miami, FL (On-site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (ET)
Reports to: Project Manager
Aeroservicios USA is a Miami-based provider of new and refurbished Ground Support Equipment (GSE), serving airlines, ground handlers, FBOs, and other aviation-related customers through direct sales, leases, rentals, and maintenance services.
We are seeking a Production Planner to support the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, experience in production environments, and the ability to implement structured processes to improve efficiency, scheduling, workflow control, and operational documentation.
Responsibilities:

Prepare, update, and monitor production schedules based on priorities, material availability, labor requirements, and delivery commitments.

Coordinate priorities between production, purchasing, engineering, quality control, maintenance, suppliers, and management.

Support the implementation and use of production planning software, ERP, MRP, CMMS, or similar systems.

Develop, update, and maintain production procedures, work instructions, workflows, operational standards, and process documentation.

Develop and maintain operation and maintenance manuals for production equipment, including standard operating procedures, preventive maintenance instructions, inspection routines, and troubleshooting guides.

Track production progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions to support on-time delivery.

Monitor material availability and coordinate with purchasing to help avoid production interruptions.

Support the creation of production reports, dashboards, schedules, and performance indicators.

Help standardize workflows to improve productivity, traceability, maintenance control, and operational efficiency.

Support the documentation and control of equipment maintenance activities when required.
Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

Experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, operations support, or a similar role.

Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, equipment, or production environment.

Experience implementing or supporting production management software, ERP, MRP, CMMS, or similar systems is strongly preferred.

Experience developing or maintaining production procedures, workflows, work instructions, operational standards, or technical documentation.

Experience preparing or supporting operation and maintenance manuals for equipment is a plus.

Ability to coordinate production schedules, material availability, labor requirements, and delivery commitments.

Strong planning, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production planning tools.

Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset.

Ability to prepare clear technical and operational documentation.

Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, production KPIs, maintenance planning, or process optimization is a plus.

Additional training in production planning, manufacturing systems, process improvement, maintenance management, or project management is a plus.
