We're looking for hardworking, dedicated and experienced insurance agents with an interest in sales and customer service to join our GEICO Treasure Valley Local Office. This is a high volume sales office serving the entire state of Idaho and Eastern Oregon.
What you would do in this role:
- Make sales of auto insurance and other personal lines of insurance products while providing extraordinary customer service to customers over the telephone and in person
- Educate clients on auto, home, renter's insurance, and other personal lines
- Service existing accounts and ensure customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information
- Work leads aggressively as a team with other agents in the office
- Identify cross-selling opportunities during retention calls
***No Cold Calling*** You will take inbound calls, handle walk in customers, and follow up on potential customers who recently received a quote online.
What you need:
- Property & Casualty or Personal Lines License in Idaho
- Prior success in a sales or customer service role
- Up to 75% of your day may be on the phone. A high-energy personality and a love of working with people is a must
- Strong computer skills to learn and work within multiple quoting systems (must be able to type at least 40 wpm)
- A knack for remembering data and details
- The ability to educate and counsel customers on insurance and find the best coverage to fit their needs
- A talent for dealing with difficult customers
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to work afternoons and weekends

Pay: $31,200.00 - $100,000.00 per year
