Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Cold Storage Warehouse Leader to oversee daily operations within our temperature-controlled facility. Duties
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment focused on safety, productivity, and accuracy.
- Oversee inventory management activities, ensuring precise tracking, control, and reconciliation using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Manage shipping and receiving operations, coordinating with logistics providers and 3PL partners to meet delivery schedules.
- Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety audits in compliance with OSHA regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and materials handling expertise to troubleshoot equipment issues such as forklifts and conveyor systems.
- Monitor warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment while maintaining strict inventory control standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision within cold storage or temperature-sensitive environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management systems (including AS400), and logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, RF scanners, and other materials handling equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving e-commerce demands and implement process improvements accordingly.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of refrigeration systems or cold storage equipment is a plus.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
