Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our sterile compounding team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in sterile environments, with a strong commitment to accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to regulatory standards. There is a possibility of cross-training to non-sterile compounding at a later date.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile compounded medications according to prescription orders, standard operating procedures and Montana and federal law.

Maintain proper documentation in compliance with USP <797>, and <800> regulations.

Ensure cleanliness and aseptic conditions in sterile compounding areas (cleanroom, laminar flow hoods).

Accurately measure and mix ingredients using calibrated equipment.

Package and label finished products with a high degree of precision.

Assist in inventory control, ordering, and restocking of compounding supplies.

Support pharmacists in daily operations and uphold a high standard of patient care and safety.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Willingness to obtain Montana Pharmacy Technician License.

Ability to obtain National Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) in a reasonable time.

Previous experience in sterile compounding highly preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to aseptic technique.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
