About the Role
Line Cooks are key members of our café kitchen team, working closely with the Kitchen Manager and fellow cooks to ensure consistent, high-quality food in a supportive, team-focused environment. This role is hands-on and detail-driven, with responsibilities that include prep, cooking, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The ideal candidate is reliable, collaborative, and takes pride in executing a limited menu with care, efficiency, and attention to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to recipes and standards
Assist with daily prep, station setup, and breakdown
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and equipment
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
Communicate clearly with the Kitchen Manager and team during service
Support fellow team members to ensure smooth, efficient service
Help with inventory awareness and proper food storage/labeling as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable with repetitive prep and executing a focused menu consistently
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Schedule & Environment
Daytime shifts with a focus on breakfast and lunch service
