Zahntechnique is a dedicated team of dental artists who are passionate about crafting smiles – one patient at a time. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and solutions-oriented individual to join our all-star team. This role is accountable for optimizing client (dentist) satisfaction by ensuring accurate scheduling and on-time delivery of dental laboratory products and services.
The critical tasks and responsibilities of this position include as follows:
- Ensure all pertinent information is received from the practice and adequate return dates are provided.
- Support Management in the tracking of cases to ensure on-time delivery.
- Facilitate communication between the dental practice and dental technicians.
- Be familiar with the services offered by the company and able to discuss at a high-level with clients.
- Review and understand all prescriptions for cases.
- Enter case information into the laboratory management system accurately and free of typographical errors.
- Foresee issues with cases as they arrive and act accordingly to avoid issues in production or delays to the client.
- Answer phone calls and discuss confidential information with clients.
- Order materials from vendors, as needed.
- Ensure allocated work is completed by the deadline and escalate any delays to management in a timely manner to ensure the case maintain on-time arrival to the client.
- Review all cases entering and leaving the department to ensure they are properly ready for the technicians to perform work.
- Attend ongoing meetings with management to develop and implement systems to improve the company’s performance.
- Review reports to understand how the company is performing to expectations and provide action plans for improvements if the company falls short of goals.
Qualifications or experience include:
Required
- Proficient in English - reading and writing
- Prior customer service experience
- Proficiency using Microsoft Windows
- Type quickly and accurately, with 45 to 75 words per minute (WPM)
- Standing for 2 or more hours a day
- Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment
Desired
- Graduate of a 2-year college or university
- Full understanding of dental terminology and dental morphology
- Prior experience working in a dental-related organization
