Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with experience in both restaurant and bar environments. As a Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that meet our standards of quality and presentation, while also contributing to menu planning, inventory and food ordering.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes and all menu options.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and the best practices.
- Assist in menu planning by offering creative ideas for new dishes and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Clean kitchen and all kitchen equipment regularly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Experience in menu planning and creating specials a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Servsafe Certification a plus.
