Join our team as a Landscaping/Hardscaping Customer Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help clients bring their outdoor visions to life! In this role, you will serve as the friendly face of our company, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with landscaping and hardscaping inquiries. Your passion will shine through as you guide customers through product selections, service options, and project consultations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting landscaping and hardscaping materials, tools, and accessories.
- Provide advice to meet customer needs.
- Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with clear communication and professional courtesy.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Maintain organized stock levels on shelves by stocking new products and merchandising displays effectively.
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting seasonal products, gardening supplies, and landscape solutions.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and merchandising to ensure an attractive shopping environment.
- Load customers as needed utilizing our midsize front end loaders.
Requirements
- General knowledge of landscaping and hardscaping materials and installation practices.
- Familiarity with retail operations including POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively.
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and customer orders efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles related to landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required.
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
