Overview
The Intake Specialist/Licensed Therapist serves as the first clinical point of contact for prospective clients seeking mental health services. This position is responsible for answering phones and emails, welcoming clients and ensuring a smooth, effective intake experience. We are a well-established specialty private practice with four locations serving individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Dsorder, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma-related Disorders, and other related disorders. We have a wonderful team of about 30 clinicians who are very collegial, supportive of one another, and passionate about helping others by providing cutting-edge, effective treatments.
In addition to intake responsibilities, the clinician may maintain a small therapy caseload providing evidence-based treatment with a primary focus on Exposure and Response Prevention for individual experiencing OCD, anxiety, and related conditions. Maintaining a therapy caseload is not a requirement but will help us to increase the salary for this position and attract candidates who have a background in CBT and ERP.
This position can be in person, hybrid or virtual for the right person.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· answering and tracking incoming phone calls, voicemails, and emails
· providing detailed information to prospective patients regarding services offered at the Clinic
· scheduling new and established patients
· Communicating with staff and adhering to systems in place
· Duties may evolve based on the needs of the office.
The ideal candidate will:
· have experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Therapy
demonstrate patience, and flexibility in their interactions with staff and patients
· have good attention to detail
· organize, prioritize, and field multiple tasks at once
· demonstrate good distress tolerance skills for when many calls and emails are coming in at once
· provide clear and articulate written and verbal communication.
· be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
· previous office experience a plus
· previous therapy experience including CBT and ERP
· compassionate understanding toward individuals struggling with mental health concerns;
· maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPAA guidelines.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: based on experience as well as whether you will be maintaining a therapy caseload. Our last admissions specialist saw 5-6 clients weekly.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
